i know it's been said over and over, but omg - you look so beautiful. holding you and your family close in my heart.

Ali, I have been checking your blog several times a day and worrying and wondering about you.
One thing we have done since our third was born is take a special day out just for one of the boys. We call it "Ayden-day" or "Austin-day" and it starts out with them helping to make their favorite breakfast, then usually a doctor visit just for practicality purposes, then they get to choose what to do the rest of the day. We usually have lunch with Grandpa or Grandma and end the day back at home with everyone. My sons talk about their "days" for months afterwards and are constantly planning and changing their minds about what to do for their next one. We have been fishing at 5:30 am, gone bowling, to the library, the Children's Museum, to the park, or even just a walk in the woods. It is so nice to spend time alone with just one when you have more. It is a rare gift that my kids really cherish and helped ease the transition for us from a family of four to five.

Wow you look amazing! What a gorgeous photo; how on earth do you meter a photo with that much light? I didn't leave any advice in that last post, and this isn't really advice, but do something to record all those little baby noises, even those cries. That newborn cry disappears so soon and it is so precious. I wish I had done something like that with my daughter because I don't really remember what she sounded like. Also, take lots of tiny footprints.
