tell us how crazy he already is about her. We have a girlie (our girlie has my husband!) but I just want to hear you describe it, too. I never get tired of it. My daughter made the rounds saying god night last night, and I was laying on the couch. As she went in to give her dad his hug, I was compelled to sit up (I was exhausted) because I just needed to see it again. She is taller than he is now, but I still see the tiny little towhead toddling toward her daddy when it is bedtime.

nothing quite like the daddy-daughter bond {except for the mommy-son bond ;-) }. it's awesome.

I just might have to have another baby. :)

When I think of your c-section, I think of my mother and how she had a c-section when she gave birth to my baby sister. You both are amazing -- to go through that and you carry on with such strength. Wow. You amaze me. My mother amazes me. I am so glad that you are resting and taking care of yourself to heal your body.
I was 10 at the time and didn't know enough to help her ... she was cooking, cleaning, doing stuff around the house a couple days after she got back from the hospital. Now that I look back, I am so mad at myself for not helping her, giving her time to heal, etc.
Anyway, congratulations on the new addition to your family.
