Right now, a package of funny things from my sister that she sent for my birthday! She's on the lung transplant list so depended on her husband to pick out a few things for a box to mail, she spends a lot of time surfing the web for samples. He chose: travel deodorant, big box of tic tacs, and some body oil. I laughed when I called her and said, "so you think now I have dry skin, stink, and have bad breath!" Be both laughed until we cried! She said when he chose those things, she just chuckled and said "OK!"

My mother's heart is happy-all grown kids doing well! One just fell in love, another has found himself and is creating art, another just got her dream job, and finally another is feeling good about where she is and who she's with. What more can a mother ask?

My baby got her first tooth! It melts my heart when she smiles at me with her new "big girl" grin!

walking on the floor in my daughter's room after a major clean-up last weekend during all the rain = astonished + happy

I just had a smoothie with a friend for lunch. That is definitely making me happy. =) I also love the sunny weather. It feels like spring.

I am happy that my daughter is feeling better, after a bad eye infection in both eyes. She has finally been able to go back to college.

Happy right now because I am moving to a new house and when I'm done and reorganized I will have plenty of room to put these goodies until I can use them!! Yea!!

When my son was asked by his aunt what he wanted for his 4th birthday this Saturday, he emphatically replied "Cookies!".
As I am typing this, it makes me smile all over again, picturing his face.

definitely watching how my son is growing and maturing. part of me hates that he is growing up, but i love seeing how he is changing and growing into the next stage of life.

The sunny 69 degree day is making me very happy right now. Although this time tomorrow when it is 38 and raining I might not be so happy.

The sunshine is and always does make me very happy, although it has been very dry and rain is necessary. But sun always warms my soul.
