Snowflakes - it's snowing outside right now, but it's the wonderful soft snow that makes everything look so pretty and lets you forget the messy winter wonderland it creates.
Enjoying this past Sunday by surprising my Mom with a visit from my sister, her daughter and son; and me as she has not seen her grandchildren in awhile. It was such a very special visit although short and sweet.

The pooch we just adopted from a rescue group is making us all happy right now. We lost our dear lab to cancer last summer and were so sad for a long time. We are all over the moon to have this wonderful, happy new spirit in our lives--even if he is a bit squirrely!
