Wednesday Sponsor Giveaways: Get It Scrapped, Lettergirl, and Scarlet Lime
One person will receive an online class spot in Art Journaling 101 and another person will get a spot in Art Journaling 102 with Dina at Get It Scrapped.
Are there are times when photos and journaling on a traditional scrapbook page don’t convey all you’d like? Scrapbooker, mixed-media collage artist, and visual journaler Dina Wakley uses a line-upon-line approach in her online classes at Get It Scrapped! to teach even those who think they’re not artistic the craft of making Art Journal pages. Classes include downloadable pdf and video lessons.
In Art Journaling 102 Dina teaches you how to “amp” up your images, layers, and textures. Art Journaling 101 covers the basics of art and journaling techniques and includes a bonus Spray Ink tutorial.
One person will receive a Katie Return Address Stamp (choice of rubber or self-inking) from Lettergirl.
Gina has been hand-lettering for 16 years. She sells her custom
stationery through retail stationery stores across the country; the "Katie Return Address"
design is an etsy exclusive.
One person will receive Scarlet Lime's bright and cheerful February kit. You can read more about Scarlet Lime here.
To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment letting me know something that is making you happy right now. Comments will be closed at 8pm this evening with the winners posted shortly after.

How fun! Right now I am happy that my husband and I are buying a new lens for our camera this week (Canon 24-70mm). I'm also happy that we enjoy photography together and get excited about it as a couple.

We had a huge storm yesterday that dumped a foot of snow at our house, but now the sky is crystal blue and it looks absolutely beautiful! That makes me very happy today!

i'm learning to appreciate the present moment, regardless of what it consists of. right now, what's making me happy are the colors/textures/images of the art journal spreads you posted above and the technology that's enabling you to share that beauty with us and enabling us to participate in this conversation with you and thank you for your sharing!

My picture-a-day project is making me happy. The kids love seeing the documentation & I can't wait to figure out how I am going to make a hard copy project of our year.

I walked into my almost 2 year old's room this morning, opened the curtains for a little light, walked over to his crib and saw him sit up,smile and reach up for me. I picked him up and he nuzzled into my neck for some snuggle time. This memory is making me happy.

You know, after a heartbreaking year last year of losing both my mother-in-law (from an unexpected stroke) and my father-in-law (from throat cancer) within 3 months of each other, it makes me very happy to hold my one-week-old nephew. It warms my heart to know there is a part of his grandmother and grandfather that carries on through him. I would love to use the giveaway to create a special something to pass on to him so he will be able to know his grandparents in some way. Congrats on your sweet baby girl. Where did you get the adorable butterfly outfit?

Packing to go home to visit my parents makes me happy right now. I haven't been home since Christmas. And, nothing beats the feeling of being at home with family.
