One person will receive a Katie Return Address Stamp (choice of rubber or self-inking) from Lettergirl.
Gina has been hand-lettering for 16 years. She sells her custom
stationery through retail stationery stores across the country; the "Katie Return Address"
design is an etsy exclusive.

That my husband is still employed. His company laid off 10% of their workforce yesterday. I pray for the families that lost jobs and am thankful that we were spared for now.

The littlest gesture made me so happy last night, and it completely carried over to today. I came home to find my house very tidy and the floors all cleaned. My husband knows I struggle with balance between house, family and me time. This felt like a total act of family unity. I am still glowing:)

planning a few days away with the kids for spring break. warm weather, lunch by the pool, the zoo, and a spring training game. we have had more than 3 feet of snow here in the last week and I need some quality time outdoors. having something to look forward to always makes time go by faster.

I am repainting my dining room and kitchen: dark, chocolate brown and a burnt terracota. The warm colors and the revitalized spaces are making me fall in love with my home, again. This is making me happy.

It's making me happy that my 13 year old left a note for my husband to have a good day! I am so happy my son still shows us love. It's not so cool at 13.

What is making me very happy right now is the documentary photography class I am taking. It is a stretch for me--everyone in the class seems to have more experience than I do--but I love the challenge. For three hours a week I can turn off my cell phone and immerse myself in the class and then spend the rest of the week deciding what to shoot, making appointments to take photos and then actually taking the photographs, working around my job and family responsibilities. Ok, it's an escape--but what a great escape it is!
