My son had his first bloody nose this morning and my daughter was devestated that she was the accidental culprit. But it makes me happy that they play together, kiss and make up so easily. Forgive and back to playing!

My daughter just found out she got the job she applied for and wanted. I am happy for her and happy about her success so far. Also, I'm happily eating my crab taco. Yum!

Knitting at the end of the day is making me happy now -- it is relaxing.

My son's birthday this week makes me very happy

I thought I had posted but don't see it...hmmm...I had said that my clean bedroom is making me happy right now. I love walking in there after a long day and just relaxing!!

What is making me happy today is the sun, it may be minus 18 out there, but the brightness is wonderful. Working away here at my desk, looking out the window and a vase full of tulips. Life is good!

wow- happy right now is exactly how I feel. I am leaving on a plane tomorrow to attend the wedding of my only brother to a wonderful girl! Friends and Family from all over will be there- as well as many Marines that he serviced with in Iraq have made it home to attend. It is going to be a very happy day.

My eight-month-old's hugs and squeezes are making me really happy today. Also, the fact that he just signed "milk" brought a big smile to my face. :)

My babies! My girls are making me so happy right now. We've had a really rough couple of months in our family and I've really found solace in my girls and being a mommy. I've rediscovered why I love being a parent and why I put one foot in front of the other and put on a happy face even on the hard days.

Instead of waiting and waiting for the perfect job in the industry I want to be in, I decided to volunteer for a non-profit in that industry. I'm happy that put my talents to good use when non-profits need all the help they can get right now.

I'm happy (mostly!) because my 5-year-old will be signed up for kindergarten today. I'm happy to see him so proud that he's a big boy.

Learning new things from people who love to teach has made my very happy today.

Here's what makes me super happy right now: 1) Tickle game I play with my 6-year old (every time he says "Whatever", I get to tickle him; I have to stop when he says "I love you")
2) Venti Iced Chai Lattes with 2 extra pumps (full fat!)

I have been going through OLD photographs the past few days, scanning them, and getting them into archival photo storage. I am so happy that someone has saved them this long and that I now have the opportunity to preserve them for our family.

Volunteering this semester to teach photography to the high school students at our little school is what is making me very HAPPY right now! It is exciting to see that moment when they "get it". And it is beautiful to see their style start to develop, their expression of the world around them come into view through their camera. I think art journaling would be a creative component I'd like to add to their projects.

Not having to work this week...watching my kids play Star Wars on the Wii together...watching HSM3 with the kids, all three of us snuggled up on the couch last night...my kids make me happy. :)
Oh and the fact that my husband is off tomorrow and Friday!

I am happy because I am going to fly to San Fran to meet with my two best girl friends! It's my first time to California.

That my 11 year old is showing compassion and empathy for another friend. Makes me feel like we did something right :)
