I'm having a "pajama day" right now! And that's making me happy! I'm just working in my PJs and avoiding all the rain and cold outside!

The sunshine! It may be cold in Colorado, but at least the sun is shining. I'm from the NW, so sunshine in February is a lovely thing. :)

I am SO happy to have a mid-winter break right now. I'm a teacher, and while all my students are off skiing and hanging out in Mexico, I'm relaxing at home, doing some crafting, and hanging out with my dog and husband - recharging and getting ready to be the best teacher I can be! I couldn't be happier! :)

I get to work with 31 middle schoolers who are passionate about pursuing their art - and in a district that has given them a place to do this.

What makes me happy right now is finally getting my creativity back... I had my second boy in September and as he approaches 5 months old I am finally getting the energy and desire to create again.
I gave myself permission to take some time off and not feel pressured to create; it feels good to actually *want* to make stuff again.

This is perfect for me today, because I woke up to a beautiful day in a wonderful house with a amazing husband and three energetic, healthy, and mostly happy kids. I dressed in new clothes and styled my new haircut. As a dropped off the last kid at school I was thanking God for all the blessings and decided to call and thank my parents for making it all possible. They were surprised, and that made me happy. I got a lot of work done at the office and now I'm entering to try and win a happy prize! It's been a good day, immersed in my happiness as I am. I think days like today help carry us through the not so happy days, of which, there are often too many. Thanks for letting me write.

A quiet office is making me EXTREMELY happy at the moment.

The art journal class would make me happy but my I am visiting my grandchildren and they bring me joy which I would choose over happy anyday.

My daughter is finally feeling better! After a few days with the flu, it's so nice to have my chipper little one running around again!

I am very happy that I am on a journey of self discovery this year. My New Years resolution is turning out to be the best one that I have ever made:) @ 27 life is bittersweet at times but knowing that I am going SOMEWHERE is way better than not going anywhere.

Being able to volunteer for my 1st grade daughters classroom. The first grade teachers are all so wonderful and fun to be around and I love the hugs & smiles from the children.
