2 books have been inspiring me lately. "Wear Sunscreen: A Primer for 'Real Life'" which has things like: do one every day that scares you, floss, enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. The other is "God thinks you're wonderful". Excerpts are: If God had a refrigerator your picture would be on it, He can live anywhere but He chose your heart. These books make me want to make mini-albums for my daughter.

I am inspired by my oldest son. He has always been a very sensitive, kind-hearted soul. Recently a group of bullies at school has made him their target and for a moment got him off track.
But, ever so bravely, he is back on track, staying strong, sticking to his beliefs, getting awesome grades, and doing his best not to allow others to push him off the path he has created for himself.

I am inspired by what I read... there is nothing more uplifting to me than a colorful character or an excellent phrase. I am just finishing up "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith and "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. I love reading books with my 15-year old daughter... we read "Twilight" together but she finished the whole series and I am behind her. Last summer we read the "Uglies" series by Scott Westerfield. It inspires me to know there are books still being written for young adults that have thought-provoking themes and moral underpinnings. This summer we are going to reread one of my all-time favorite books "A Separate Peace" by John Knowles.

I've been inspired by my organization efforts. It's so nice to be able to find things, and as I'm reorganizing, it's a great reminder of what I have!

Spring has been inspiring me lately. All of the fresh, bright colors in scrapbook paper; the longer daylight to spend outside; warmer days this week; not to mention new life since we just had a baby.

I am inspired by the signs of spring: The smell in the air, warmth of the mid-day hour, neighborhood children at the door eager to play outside. I love the newness and possibilities of SPRING!!
