The hope of spring! It's still most definitely winter here in Iowa, but we're starting to see signs of spring -- brighter sun, longer days, melting ice & snow . . .

Wow, the necklace that Erin made with your names on it is gorgeous, Ali! I recently ordered one for my sister with her three boys' names on it - can't wait for it to arrive in the mail! Lately I've been inspired by things that people post in Etsy. It's such a neat way to see what other artists are out there doing all around the world. :)

I am inspired by God's wonderful creation every time I look out my windows. I see an awesomely beautiful mountain and brilliant blue skies. I see how well it fits together & know it could not have happened just by accident.

Right now I am all over flickr, looking for fun colorful spring pictures, much like these...http://www.flickr.com/photos/mexycan/2276446204/ because I am SO SO very tired of winter!
I am also inspired by my photography book I have been reading, trying to improve my skill set there. I tried some new settings over the weekend, to my delight, I got some fun and new shots. So I am inspired to keep plugging away at this hobby!

My family has been inspiring me along with this gorgeous weather out in AZ! I collaged a large piece of recycled glass yesterday with some of my favorite pictures of the last five years:

It sounds goofy, but the National Geographic magazine I flipped through today in the doctor's office totally inspired me. While I waited for my hubby, I jotted notes for an hour. Every story and picture gave me ideas for new poems (which I desperately needed). Sometimes, all it takes is a look outside of our normal routine to find loads of inspiration. :D

They have some amazing designers who use fun colors and great fonts.

the sunshine peering through the clouds and lighting up a cherry blossom tree on the way into work this morning and my 13-year old daughter's laughter as she teaches me how to "correctly" spell words when sending a text message.
