I have been inspired lately because a good friend of ours recently died of cancer and having many memories of him in photo form has inspired me to take more photos and scrap them!

My son is inspiring me. Yesterday when I came home from work my son handed me the special helper badge he got at school. He read the morning message (54 words!)to his entire kindergarten class. He was so proud!
I was finally able to sit down and complete a layout about this last night after being completely creatively blocked for months!

I've been really inspired by all the seed and plant catalogs arriving in the box lately. Nature's colors and textures are amazing--and, surprisingly, the names of varieties also spur my imagination! Look at http://www.parkseed.com and if the page hasn't changed, look at the African daisy photo... I've got a LO in mind based upon that pic... and the reds and pinks and circles and scallops(!) of the tomatoes make me giddy to paint and to get my hands into the dirt with the kiddos and plant.

I love to discover things that make me happy - lately it is the surprising ways that people are creative. Yesterday I stumbled upon this lego site - http://legomyphoto.wordpress.com/ and also this poster from http://poppytalk.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html (I think you have to scroll to August 17th) which I think I will put up either in my kids bedroom or my kitchen.

Enjoying the photos of the family, especially the new little peach!
I think my baby girl has been inspiring me - to keep going when I'm tired, grouchy, etc - to make time and enjoy it with her, especially when she's so little. Can't bear to think of the day when she leaves!
Thanks for the fun giveaway!

This may sound really corny, but my sons' eyes have been my greatest source of inspiration lately. Nebraska seems to be nothing but endless stretches of gray, tan and white this time of year. When I look into the deep golden brown of my younger sons eyes, or the ever changing blue, green and hazel of my older sons eyes I feel at peace and invigorated at the same time...and I feel compelled to capture the love I feel for them, in some concrete way, so they never need to question it. :-)

Hi Ali! Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful pictures of Anna--I love the ones where Simon is holding her!
Hmmm... what is inspiring me lately? I just love the cute and brightly colored spring trench coats. Sunny yellow, grass green, and neon fuschia--so much fun to brighten up the last few weeks of the winter blues!

So much is inspiring me. It has finally rained here in Melbourne after a summer of drought. Our community has gathered around the victims and supported them and it is so good to be a part of that. Real community within your suburb(neibourhood) is something special, it's a pity it often takes a tragedy to uncover it. So love, friendship, caring and the feeling of belonging is what is inspiring me.

What is inspiring me right now is my spring Better Home and Gardens magazine. The fresh colors, plants and just the thought that spring is around the corner.
