I just learned to knit and so I am inspired by yarn colors and textures right now. I also love this pin cushion http://www.birdbraindesigns.net/english-garden-pin-cushion.aspx that Alicia showed on her blog last week. Basically anything colorful and springy. I am definitely NOT inspired by the weather right now....I'm in MN dealing with snow, wind, cold and freezing rain in the forcast. ICK!!! Any of these lovely prizes would be a welcome diversion. Thank you. Oh and Anna is ADORABLE....you are one blessed mama with those two beautfitul children!

I have been inspired by the good mothers I have been observing around me. They validate my own efforts and I am happy to see the tiny accomplishments of simple things.
Today, at the doctor, I saw a mother with two tiny daughters walking very slowly down the hall allowing the littlest to walk on her own. They moved at a snail's pace, and so many people would have scooped that baby up and hustled her to the car- but this mother took the time to allow her baby to walk and to relish that accomplishment. This tiny girl felt valued and safe and allowed to try- because she has a good mama.
So much was taught in that simple moment. It inspired me.

My recent trip to India has changed the way I look at things. My parents emigrated 40 years ago and I have been there many times. This time it was different. I see colour differently and hope to integrate my new outlook in my home, my clothing and my scrapbooking

Ali - love your giveaways! Right now I am inspired by my son. I know he is struggling with some things but he is putting his best foot forward. Everything I am working on is about positive energy and staying focused on goals. Go hug your kids!

My daughter. She has started a scrapbook challenge website, and I submitted a layout for it. So inspired me to go out of my box and do a layout in an hour or so. Usually takes me so much longer

Hey Ali - Congrats on your girl....what a wonderful family. I am inspired by textures. I love the look of my grass right now, the buds on trees, my nubby sweatshirt that should really be tossed out, the buttons on my blackberry. Spent the weekend scrapbooking and found myself reaching for anything that had texture.
Have a wonderful Wednesday

My inspiration lately is all the blogs I have been going to as well as back issues of magazines I've been looking at. I'm more simplistic in my scrapping so I have been digging out my 2006 magazines to look at layouts with less products on it. I adore that necklace and think I will be one even if I don't win, but thanks for the chance!

My daughter inspires me just to be a better person. She's only 15 months old, but her innocence and bright smile and excitement over everything make me want to enjoy life more fully.

The daffodils stems that I saw poking through the melting 8 inches of March snow we had here in VA on Sunday and Monday. Spring will come! My words don't do it justice, but my computer is too sick to put pictures on it.

Brene Brown's blog "Ordinary Courage" has been SO inspiring to me lately. Every day, inspired by Brene's writings, I remind myself to be authentic and keep it as real as possible. She is doing a read along with one of her books next month, and I can't wait! Thank you, Ali, for including this blog in one of your posts a while back!

I'm inspired by my patients (I'm a cancer nurse) who continue to find the good in every day and count their blessings, even though they're riddled with that horrible disease. With their spirit and their "glass half full" attitude, each and every one of them inspires me to be thankful for what I have and realize that things aren't so tough for me right now after all.

I've been inspired by kid's cartoons lately. The colors, the cuteness. Ni Hao Kai-lan is one in particular.
