I am inspired by my new born son, there are so many things i want to record, i lay there awake at night thinging of what i want to do and of ideas. I just want time to stand still for a second so i can soke up all of the newborn smells and special memories.

I am actually inspired by me lately (well to be honest, me as a kid). I just found a box in my parents barn containing all of my report cards from grade 1-12, my class pictures from grade 1-5, all of my sports memorabilia and pictures I took on class field trips. I am so excited for the first time EVER to scrap all about ME. I can't wait!!!

I've been inspired by Aby Garvey's newsletter and weekly tips on organizing. Feeling the need to really spring clean this year - purge, clean out & organize everything - particularly the scrapbook room. :)

I'm inspired by the near completion of my student teaching! For years I've been trying to finish school and I'm almost there, it makes me feel I can conquer anything.

My new Photo Shop Elements I got for Christmas is inspiring me to try new things with my photos. I just learned to use Brushes and I'm excited to learn more!

this may seem silly, but the American Eagle Clothing company 'aerie' line logo of their bird has been inspiring me lately - and with spring on the horizon, what a better time ! I was at the store with S the other day and they had perfume sample 'sticks' in the shape of the bird. i grabbed a couple and have been using them in my art. so fun. and i love the soft blue colors they have. thanks ali for letting us share our inspirations - they are everywhere !

I'm getting my inspiration from some new music I've been introduced to just recently. My husband saw this band on the local university channel and he found a movie they made called Once --- they are so amazing. I love to sit and listen to them while I create.

It is the weather....

Etsy has been inspiring me lately. Big surprise!!! I search all the art categories, especially photography. I have become a HUGE fan of the Pioneer Woman. Also, as a graphic designer for a university, old stamp catalogs (from the 90s) have been inspiring me for graphic ideas. And, Ali, you always inspire me!

My bff's baby shower I am helping host on Sunday. I've handmade all the invitations and made a wreath for decoration using the ultra sound pictures. Even been inspired to plant little clear cups of wheatberry for table decor and made crepes one of her favs for the shower. Currently working on cards for guest to fill out about things they remember about when mom & dad were little or growing up to add to the tinies baby book.
What is not inspiring about birth of babies, Spring in the air and the fantastic birth of color Mother nature provides at this time of year?

What is inspiring me lately? My family and friends, thoughts of Spring (which I hope comes soon!!!), the fact that DH and I both have jobs (very thankful for that, and inspired to look for ways to help others), looking at art (some people are very, very talented!), listening to music, reading great (and not so great) literature, and daydreaming about infinite posibilities!

We finally got our snow of the season in DC so I'm glad winter didn't pass by without dropping some of the white stuff. Now bring on the sun and spring break!!

my cousin is inspiring me today since i'm making him a thank you card.

Lately, I've taken a lot of responsibilities at work, working overtime, all so I can purchase a new dining table. I gave the one I had to my sister and now I don't have one. I've been keeping an eye on a Shabby Chic Highgate table and it cost a lot so I have been working so hard I can purchase one.:)

Being alive inspires me!
