i'm working on organizing, again!

I'm working on a picture box for my daughter-in-law's sister who just got married and-I love this-I'm dressing up the front of a PINK toolkit I got for a Kiwi friend who loves all things pink. It's actually got really useful tools for around the house and they're all pink. No hubby or sons borrowing these gems.

I am working on a family/home family album. I have almost finished, but now need to print the photos i have in mind for each page.

I am working on getting healthy. My Mom just passed away - much too young - and I want to make sure that I'm around to enjoy grandchildren some day!

I've been working on a couple of unfinished mini albums from last year. one is from my vegas trip where my husband did his first marathon and I did the half. The other on documents our first time at melissa's road race. I love looking back at the pictures and arranging them in the books. it is like being there all over again! ciao!

Working on remembering to look after myself, something that can get lost in all the day-to-day demands on me and on my time. Remembering it's important, and necessary, to look after me.

I've been working on making a bird banner for my craft room, had fun doing something different.

I've been organizing my papers and other supplies by color - I realized I never searched for things by pattern and I find the overall effect to be very calming.

I have been working on hand quilting a table runner. Whew. It's my first one and it's a challenge, but I'm learning to enjoy it! :)

Cleaning out all of our junk and organizing. It seems to be looming over my head and I can't get anything accomplished. I'm just making lists and setting small goals day to day.

i've been a card-making fool lately. in the past week i've probably made 30 cards for all occasions. its nice to stock up so when you need one, its there!

i am working on potty training my 2 year old... nuff said!

I'm working on a design for a layout I want to do about when I was pregnant with my twins, to tell the story of how we found out, how I just knew before they even told me, and the roller coaster it has been. My husband took a picture of me from the side the morning of the c-section that I enlarged (crazy!) to use as the focal point. It's a story I tell all the time, I've just not written it down and it's been 4 years now.

I took out my machine and have sewing and also cleaning out closets.

I've been working on getting organized so then I can actually do my projects that are in my head :)

my crafty side has been coming out. last weekend i made an adoreable tutu for a friend of mine's little girl. it's light purple and so cute. she turns two at the end of the month and it's her birthday present. this weekend i am going to buy more stuff and make a bright pink one for my niece who is 22months.
