I have been working on craft projects for Mother's Day...it seems to me it creeps up on me and I never get I wanted finished finished in time...I have just learned to knit and am enjoying sitting after dinner knitting while I watch tv.

I'm working on deep breathing, relaxing more ... and patience. Ah, patience!

I have been working on reading through the stack of books on my bedside table - currently at 16!

My husband is always working on our 100 + year old home. I'm going to make an album showing his work, for his 4/16 birthday. I have the pictures printed & I've been saving up materials. I never do any scraping for him. I think he will really appreciate it!

With the changing of the season soon upon us, I have been cleaning my daughters' closets to make room for the next bigger size. They are growing so fast that I cannot keep up!
I just keep thinking to hurry up and finish so that I can get back to preserving memories.

My husband had an old hunting album that was falling apart, from the 80s. So I put it into a new album - saving his dynamo labels from each page. Who knew - my hubby is a scrapbooker!

I have been working on simplifying my life. I can't believe the 'stuff' that I have accumulated over the years...unnecessary stuff, stuff that I thought defined me.
So since January I have been purging, cleansing the soul so to speak. Those pants that fit pre kiddos...gone, trying to embrace the new curves that I have. The important items that I might use one day...gone. Those clothes that may come back in style or just had to have because they were a deal...donated.
It's been a journey, but a necessary one.

I've been working on my 'camera' skills...taking technically great pictures, taking my camera more places, taking more pictures....then I have more meaningful and special pictures to scrapbook.

Love all of these goodies! I've been preparing for my trip to New York in a couple weeks...reading and getting clothes ready to go!

I am currently working on our Christmas album from last year, and a Halloween album.

I have been working very hard lately on my family's vacation album and some photos from 2007.

I have been working on getting my life organized. Soon I need to start working on my sister's sports picture album for her graduation open house in June. I need to get organized before I can do that.

I love, love, love Allison Strine's stuff. I had my parents give me some for a Christmas gift. She is one talented, creative, funny lady, so please, pick me! As for what I've been working on, I've been kicking around the idea of doing a photo album scrapbook for some trips I've taken recently but really, I've been working on potty training my 2 year old.

Personally: trying to get my office and other things organized and keep them that way. Crafty: I want to make some beaded hair combs.

In addition to lots of cards and a few layouts, I'm working on not worrying too much and remembering that God doesn't give us anymore than we can handle.

My little one had a taste fair at school and I was in charge of making "lots" of aligator suckers! I made about 200 of them 5 at a time...unfortunately the tails were a little fragile and I'd end up having to remelt 20% of them...but they were very cute in the end. I used green candy melts for fun. The kds thought they were delicious...btw we're from Baton Rouge so aligators are as common as crawfish...:)
