Creatively I'm getting back into the groove. Maybe it's that spring is right around the corner, freshness, newness. I've just been re-discovering all my scrap stuff and making some cards and mini journals.

I'm working on finding some sort of rhythm to my life. A six-week old baby and a 7 year old son have really turned my usually ordered life upside-down. I'm really working on trying to let go of what doesn't have to be done right this minute and embracing my "new" life.

Creative wise I have been working on scrapbooking the events of 2008. I have also been making general thank you cards and I made a few St. Patrick's Day cards.
Personally---I am working on being independent, standing on my own two feet and trying to figure out what life is like as "seperated" versus "married".

I am working on getting ready to move, so I've been doing a lot of sorting, throwing out and donating all the while leaving my scrap trable up so that I can sracp book untill the movers are at the front door.

right now, we are working on our son's graduation piece. while my hubby is working on a new job interview while i make the most of my spare time making ATCs. :)

There are a lot of things in the works around here. The hint of spring has brought a lot of lofty goals to the forefront: join the community garden (done), plan the front yard landscaping, finish decorating our house...the list goes on!
So, I'm slowly picking away at each task to make sure I get it just the way I want without spending a lot of money.

I've been sewing some summery accents and pillows for our home. I have spring fever bad!

For Spring, I needed a fresh look in our living room, but tried to do so on a budget. A few new throw pillows, picture frames, and candle holders. My crafty project this week is painting a big blank canvas using the new colors to go above the fireplace. Great contest, thanks Ali!

"Smart women tie up loose ends." Trying to be a smart women and finish some small albums I've been working on. Enjoying the success as I watch my kids flip through them every day. Reminds me why I stay up late.

I've been working on recharging my soul...
Life has been going at full-speed since the beginning of the year and I realized I have been living pretty much on auto-pilot and missing out on so many of the things I truly love.

I have been sewing purses/bags made out of recycled jeans and funky fabrics, and I have been grouting and caulking my shower. :P

I have been working on my husband. I almost have him ready to buy me a new camera. I think he just wants me to shut up!

Blood Glucose charts,learning Excel, spring painting projects, new garden beds...wow I am tired thinking about all that unfun stuff.

I've been working on my garden, too late for lettuce and chard here in Texas - I've just planted tomatoes, peppers, onions, and beans. Getting ready to pull out all the shrubs in the front yard and start over. However - I've just booked a scrapbook retreat in Galveston for 2 weeks from today - so I guess I'm also working on my one little word - Balance.

Beautiful giveaways, as always. :) My one little word, balance, is what I'm continuing to work on... some days more fully than others, but I really like having this one constant reminder in my daily life. I'm finding it especially useful these days while my fiance and I are planning our wedding!

I am working on finishing up a 2008 year in review mini album. And working on keeping life in balance and having more patience with my children. Just working on being a better me. Thanks for the giveaways.

I've been working on catching up on my scrapbooking-- I've finally gotten back the initiative to work on it. I'm distracted by my passion for sewing (I've completed 2 clothing items and have another one to go), but it's hard to sew clothes and hang out with friends at the same time!
