working on a wedding album for a friend, classes for my lss for April and trying to stay calm and relax at the same time!

What wonderful giveaways!!! I've been working on my youngest DS's first year album. He just turned 1 last month, so my plan is to get his first year done & stay caught up on his & then I can concentrate on my 5 yr old DS's album (that I'm no where near caught up on).

Lately I've been working on trying to be a better me. I've realized lately that I've been a bit on edge and not really the greatest person to be around. So I made a decision to try to be the person that I would like to hang out with...sometimes easier said than done.

Honestly, I have been working on sub plans. My husband and I are taking a day off(his idea) on Friday to reconnect and catch up - our busy schedules are getting even crazier lately and we haven't had time to breathe, let alone spend some quiet time together.

I have been working on my daughter's scrapbook. I am trying to get caught up by this summer. She's 2 1/2 now and I'm still working on the first year. It's like the pile of pictures never end!

Wow! I have been working with my brother to plan our "Art In Our Family" week we are doing this summer. We've been collecting papers, ephemera, old photos, fabric scraps, cool "outside the scrapping box store" stuff that comes in the mail as catalogs or envelopes, and lots of gesso for some canvases we are making for the whole family. We are jazzed about all of it and cannot wait until the last week of June to get started. We've rented a cheap cabin on a lake and are going to create!

I've been working on a book about me for me and later my kids. I am always on the lookout for quotes that move me and papers, ribbon and just about everything that's in my favorite colours and patterns

I have been trying to organize and purge scrapbooking supplies. Taking inventory and trying to utilize what I have. NO BUYING NEW STUFF!! (I'm still trying to convince myself this.) Trying to get some pages done and figure our PSE7. Lots of fun!!
PS.. The baby is absolutely adorable. Such a lucky family!

I've been working on increasing my knowledge of history and other social studies topics as I ready myself to teach an internship next year. As far as crafty endeavors, I've been working on an album for my DS who is a senior in high school.

I've been working on painting the trim and finish work in our new addition. I refuse to let anyone move in until I'm DONE! Hoping to get things finished by the end of March.

I'm working on Stacy Julian's Library of Memories class - organizing my photos to make the most of my scrappy time.

Hi Ali: I've been working on cleaning out our guest bedroom. It's been acting as a storage room since we moved in 2 years ago. However, I've been cleaning it out, donating lots of stuff, and bought organizational shelves for the closet. I'm 90% done with the cleaning process. Next, I'm going to repaint the two twin beds for this room and it will be ready for our guests this May. I like projects, but I love completing them even more! Thanks, Kim

Hi Ali - here are the things I have been working on:
-rearranging my scraproom
-1st year albums for my 4 yr old and 2 yr old
-collecting craft projects for the kids to do in the summer time
-working on my garden for spring veggies and summer veggie/fruits

I've got several projects on the go right now...a family recipe book for my S-i-l, aprons (my new obsession) two layouts that I can't get just right...and a vacation album...phew...makes me tired just writing it all out!

I have really been trying hard to go through all my craft stuff and get out stuff I won't use. I need to stop collecting and start using before I buy more. Why is it so hard??

A beautiful and colorful baby quilt.

Yesterday I swung on a swing for the first time in years and it really inspired me to scrapbook it! I took pics with my phone and am working on digging through my stash for supplies until the pictures are ready. I am very excited to get to work on it!
