Lately I have been working on learning to sew, knit, bake, garden and all things domestic that have been forgotten over the years. It really does give me great joy.

I've been taking a photo editing class and working on a couple of hybrid albums.

lots and lots of things...have been busy creating lots of scrapbook layouts of my children and working on hard an improving my photography skills...and enjoying every min.

I have been working on losing those last 5 pounds to reach my goal weight, going through and organizing my photos and supplies(after reading Photo Freedom), and getting rid of excess clutter around the house.

Right now I'm working on a wall hanging for my friend's baby's room. I wish I felt more inspired.

I've been working on finally having an "Open Studio" in my scrap studio. Had the first one last Saturday with a couple friends and their daughters. It was so fun. Lots of girl talk, snacks, connecting while crafting. Loved it!

I'm making a quilt for a wedding gift for my brother and his fiancee who are getting married this weekend. I'm also finishing up 100 programs for them for the church ceremony.

I have a bit of Spring Fever around here cleaning out closets with frequent trips to the thrift shop for drop offs. Scrapbooking wise I am working on our recent vacation album.

I have been working on a mini book of my favorite places around Minneapolis!! It's a fun curvy basic grey chipboard albums!

Unfortunately I have not been working on any type of scrapbooking. Most of my time has been spent on TAXES - yuk! Since I work with my hubby's finacial part of his business, they had to be completed and mailed by last Monday so as soon as I catch up on the household stuff, I can try to get creative again! Recently, I am focussing on Art journaling. There is a small class I am teaching & so I am constantly exploring ways of inspiring them. We are hoping to grow our class, and especially the therapeutic/pastoral benefits of this medium.

Still working on scrapping pics from our last hiking trip....which was in October!!! =) It's so hard sometimes to find the "right" embellishments to help tell the story. It's all good.

Even though I read your blog daily, this is the first time entering one of your give aways. I am fairly new to art journaling and have been attempting to learn all the tricks. I'm having loads of fun at it!

I am working on my first chipboard mini book about my little girl's first christmas.

I have been working on organizing my closet. And by organizing, I mean getting rid of stuff, then color coding my clothes, shoes, books, and fabric collections. My closet is starting to look like a giant rainbow, and my friends are telling me I need to get a life. : )

I've been working on a research report with my 5th grade daughter these last few days! It's a 2 month long project on the state of Mississippi and it's crazy how much information we need to collect. I don't ever remember doing a report this intense when I was in elementary school. LOL .....

I've been working on getting my scraproom organized to function better for me. Almost done so hopefully some creative vibes will come my way.

I've been working on using my stash up - made a "Birthdays" book for my goddaughter: all 18 years - she was so surprised. Made a mini book about the "loves of my life".
Trying to make the best of being unemployed and enjoying the creative side of life for a change.
