I'm working on being neater-- tidier. It's a daily...hourly... project. I feel like I'm making progress, though!

I am in the process of painting an extra bedroom and redecorating so I can switch my present scrapping room to the bigger one. My next step will be to redo the smaller bedroom so we can put in a baby crib. I will be taking care of my new granddaughter - "due within the next week or two" said the doctor at yesterday's appointment! The pictures of Anna are so precious and keep my excitement high for the new member of our family.

i'm working on a photobook for my son of our recent trip to the monster truck rally....he's obsessed. I'm digitally extracting my son from pictures and trying to put him "in" monster trucks. It's taking longer than I thought, but it's worth it. I'm also trying to come up with a logo for a teeshirt for our church youth group to wear on an upcoming missions trip. I'm trying to use digital brushes in photoshop in ways I've never done before....it's stretching me.

I've been sock knitting as a grounding exercise...just to keep thigns in check. I've got a few pairs on the needles...second socks. Also, I've been working on readying our house for spring & summer, and on creating a new curriculum for our school of the arts. Part of that is a scrapbook workshop series at special request from my students, who also love to play with paper and glue sticks.

I've been working on getting the layout ideas floating around in my head on to paper. We're in the middle of boxing and moving. I don't have time or supplies (all packed) to work on layouts right now. I have felt a lot of inspiration though, strange. So just a lot of note taking right now. I can't wait to unpack and get those ideas into layouts!

I've been working on a "cast of characters" book of sorts - I scrap a lot of events with friends and family, but I wanted to do pages devoted to them. Each shows how we met, why they mean so much to me and explains some of the dynamics of our friendship.

My mission is to get connected in our new community and find work that meshes with family. I am glad for warmer weather, everyone comes outside and I am seeing familiar faces around my neighborhood now.
Thank you for the cool give aways!

I have been diligently trying to figure out how to work with my new imac computer AND photoshop elements at the same time!! Boy oh boy, is that challenging, but I have the urge to complete and finish several small scrapbook projects before the summer so that I can relax and take the time to enjoy my family and friends and photograph them all ready for the winter months scrap-hibernation!!!

I just finished up with our family's reunion album!! I love it. It only took me 5 or 6 hours using an 8x8 album. What a priceless heirloom I've created!!
I am getting ready to create my very own butterfly collage. I've been thinking about exactly what I want to do.

I'm working toward earning a Master's degree in education. It's rewarding and crazy and time consuming. Thanks for your wonderful blog that keeps me inspired and in touch with my creative side. Please keep the pictures of your beautiful family coming. They always make me smile and remind me of when my own kids were small.
