I have been working on my word for the year. I chose (like you) nurture. I have been taking the time to send handmade cards, leaving a voice mail etc. to those people that pop into my head. My SIL, our pediatrician etc. I have heard from a few that say my call/email came at just the right time in there lives, and how amazing it was to receive something without expecting anything in return-just knowing someone was thinking of them-nurturing them. My only NewYears resolution I have stuck to. Thanks for the challenge.

I have been working on my 'Bucket List' Album. I have taken my life goals and have scrapbooked them. It is nothing fancy. For example, one of my goals was to go to France. It is #36 on my list. So my page says #36 Go To France. It has some picture os me in Paris and at the bottom it says Accomplished July 2006. The first page of the album is the list and the behind it are the layouts in no particular order. It's fun so I can see what I have done in my life.

I've been scrapping old, left-over photos with stories about the person, but that don't really relate directly to the photo. I discovered several stacks of pictures in a box last week, and I figured there were many "little" stories that could be told through them. I've also been working on many fiber and clothing projects. I'm never at a loss for something to do!

I am trying to work on my creative identity. To keep my creative drive, to make sure I don't lose myself in the transitions which we face in our lives and to enjoy my life and my family.

I am working on re-creating my personal goals in life starting with creating a personal mission statement. I find I just go through the motions of each day without much thought to the goals I want to achieve in life. Then once in awhile, something smacks me in the head & I realize I am not doing anything to achieve those goals. Yesterday was one of those days & now I am determined to get focused!!

I have been working on getting my stuff organized and getting things together with pictures for things to do eventually this way I will spend more time cropping when I get together with my friends rather then hesitating what paper I should us and all. Hopefully this will help me be more productive.

Lately I've been consumed with getting ready for Artfest. It's my first time going and I'm SO excited! I've been spending a lot of time lately working on swaps to take with me. I still have lots more to finish and hopefully will get them done on time.

I've been working on altering some vintage photos of my husbands uncles. One in particular of Uncle Frank holding up a rabbit by the ears, circa 1939. Some glitter, some rub ons, some text stating simply - Happy Easter or the bunny gets it!
