I have been working "like a dog" getting my house ready to go on the market. While the works been tedious at times, there's actually a creative process involved so it hasn't been totally yucky!

I began Monday working on a 16 x 20 canvas that i intend to place in the choir suite at my church. I have never worked on canvas before and have NO idea what has possessed me at this time. I have guessoed a piece of tissue paper to the canvas with a lot of wrinkles, big and small. Next i have some sheet music to color and adhere around the edges. I have grungeboard alphas to color and adhere that spell " VOICES OF PRAISE ".
I have some music note chipboard to color and adhere. I have a tiny voice recorder that i intend to record a smidge of one of our recordings and then i will paint or cover it and adhere it also. I have no idea what my colors are going to be yet. So far its all white. Does it count that i am soooo excited to be doing this. It is way outside the box for me. ms.cheryl

I just had a baby, too, so I'm taking a ton of pictures to scrap later, and making a ton of thank you notes for all the thoughtful gifts.

Hi Ali ~ I wnat to thank you for the opportunity for the give away!! Also, love the pics of your new daughter, escpecially the one where Simon is feeding his brand new baby sister. How that brings back memories.
Currently I am working on mini album of me and my husband. So far it has been fun digging up old photos when we first dated 33 years ago (we are high school sweethearts).

Lately, I have been working on patience... on taking one day at a time in this winter that has been filled with bad luck, on finding the silver lining in the crazy hectic moments with the kids and telling myself that someday, those will be the cherished memories... on telling myself that if the only thing I achieve today is to make my kids laugh, it is a great day!

I've been working on my daughters High School scrapbook...I would very much like to be current (or as close as possible) when she graduates this June. She takes tons of photos, I trained her well!

I have been working on getting my yard ready for spring, a new roof (OK the roofers did the work!) and eyeing some Amy Butler patterns that I might try (not sure I can sew that well!)

I have been working on getting my children well (we have had sickness in some form in our home for nearly 3 weeks). I have also been spending a lot of time and emotional energy with a friend who is going through a difficult time in her life. My Library of Memories assignments are piling up, but life is happening around here and I'm just taking it a day at a time and getting done what I can.
