Haven't been working on *anything* crafty lately--all of my time recently is going in to preparing for my first triathlon.

i'm working on getting my 'together',preparing myself for work tomorrow, after a very long maternity leave! typing now with my baby in my arms and wondering how i'm going to leave her. as a mother you know what i mean. no words necessary.

My son just started year 7 in High School and going to a Private all boy school there have been so many "firsts". His school offers so much for the boys to choose from and because of his great teachers he has really taken a serious interest in his art classes and basically wants to make all his assignments so much more creative. Enter ME, I have had so much fun creating with him and teaching him new techniques that I have learned while scrapbooking and can now pass onto my son. Being creative, preserving memories, saving your stories, Scrapbooking is truly a gift that keeps on giving.

I have been working on myself and my marriage! We have a 17month old and it has been a tough year trying to keep it all together:) My husband and I are actually going away for the weekend without our daughter for the first time ever, a good chance to work on us!

I've been working on new ways to get my son to sleep without a fuss and proud to say it's working. (Hopefully this doesn't jinx it).

What yumilicious prizes. I'm working on a digital recipe booklet with my Mom and Grandma's recipes incorporating their handwritten recipe cards and some fun stories.

I actually got to do a couple of quick "scraplift" pages with some great shots of my son from Valentine's Day.

Right now I have 2 projects going on. One is 2 albums for my daughters soccer coaches from last year and the other project is our christmas photos from last year. Will be nice to get these out of the way so I can move on to whatever other project strikes my fancy.

I've been working on learning to hand quilt to finish the quilt top I have.

I've been working on redoing my cricut books to make them more portable and to get rid of all the extra pages I don't use!! They're coming along nicely.

Right now, my son and I are working on his grades. He's in 4th grade and he's having a tough time this year with Math. So every night after homework and dinner we sit down and review the day's goings on in Math! So far it seems to be paying off.

I must admit that I've been reading reading reading. It has been great - I consider it "working on myself"!!!

I've been working on a 12 x 12 album I do for our Red Hat Group. My Red Hat title is the Scrapbook Diva and my chapter The Purple Pals just loves to have all our memories of events we attend and people we meet at our Queen's house to reflect back on. That to me is the joy of Scrapbooking.

I've working on making 2 quilts made out of 30's fabric. Someone gave me a box of old fabric, and they were such cute prints that I had to make a scrap quilt out of them.... They're coming along great!

Lately it's been lots of work at work, but I'm trying to make time to get through the layouts from Cathy's design your life. My little minutes of creativity.
