Right now ny favorite tool is my paper slicer. It forces me to focus on what is the most important aspect of a photo and slice away the excess. The photos speak louder after an encounter with the slicer.

My favorite tool has got to be my Fiskar's trimmer - it's an old style though and I can't find new blades so a new trimmer is in my future.
