I had a very, very fussy baby. The only song that would calm him down was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. So I sang it over and over and over again. All year long.
It still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. :-)

My favorite song is Amazing Grace. It was always my grandmother's favorite hymn. It could bring tears to her eyes on any given Sunday. I used to love to stand next to her in church just to hear her sing the harmony. We played it at our wedding in her honor, not knowing that a few years later we would name our daughter Grace. She is my Amazing Grace...need I say more?

My favorite song of all time is one most people have never heard. It's called Dark Horse and was written by a couple of friends of mine from a band called Honeyslide. It's just so happens to be the song that they sang as I walked down the aisle to marry my awesome hubby too. The chorus says "Take me, I'm ready, to go on any trip you wanna take me on... " Awww!

My all-time absolute favorite song is Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, followed by Elsewhere by Sarah McLachlan. My current favorite is Love Letter to Japan by The Bird and the Bee. Such a fun happy song (compared to the downers that are my favorites of all time). :)

It's Your Love by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill.....Mine & DH's song........From the day we met until know that song is so powerful to us. Everytime I play it or hear it, it gives me GooseBumps......it is also the song that I sing to the children.....it is so calming and it has a very special meaning.
