To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment answering the following: if you could wake up anywhere, where would it be? This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.

On a sleeping porch. Birds calling for a new day. Smells of a spring morning. Hydrangeas and spanish moss. A worn quilt and feather pillow. A chilly morning where you only want your head to poke out. Reaching for my husband's warm legs with my toes. Morning chit-chat. There until we tire of being lazy.

On the beach, Catalina Island, CA. I have great memories from college there. But I really do love waking up at home in bed with my husband and kids down the hall but after I have slept all I want to, not because I have to get the kids off to school or change the baby's diaper. :)

My perfect waking-up spot would be at home with my family on a day where we had no schedules--oh how dreamy that would be!!

East Africa someplace, preferable under mosquito netting with a warm breeze blowing through a window .... as long as my family could wake up there with me.

Seeing that I always have trouble sleeping in places other than my own home, it would be likely for me to say in my own bed, next to my husband, but it would be nice if my bed and home were magically transported to Aruba, our favorite vacation spot.

I would love to wake up at FAO Schwarz with my husband and son. Who doesn't want to play with toys all day? I'm still so much of a kid at heart.

In a bed with my husband, we work 500 miles apart (I work weekdays, but he works most weekends) so we don't get to see each other very much.
