This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.

I would love to wake up in Hawaii. It is just always so relaxed and peaceful there. And just waking up to the sound of the ocean...uh-mazing!

I would wake up in Siena, Italy - the old town part... so beautiful, and the food is to die for! ;-)

If I could wake up anywhere it would be a beach house so I could walk out and eat some breakfast while listening to the waves crash and the feel the breeze. Aahhh!

I would wake up here, in my own house, in my own bed, surounded by my family. . . only it would be three or four hours later, and there would be no place we had to go. We would have frenchtoast, fresh strawberries, bacon and coffee, plus the New York Times newspaper.
I love my life, right here, right now. I only wish it were a little less hectic!

I dream of a giant bed with soft white sheets and down comforters and about 10 pillows with soft sunlight streaming in. My husband and I are nested in there with our 3 little people and our sily dogs sleeping at our feet.

Wow my answer surprises me! In a tent with my husband and two sons. Probably, somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. No telephone, no schedule to keep. Just the 4 of us, relaxed and happy!

No question here, either London or Cabo San Lucas. Since it's rainy and gloomy here today I'll take the Cabo option for today :)

I watched that video yesterday at your twitter suggestion and had an interesting conversation with my 4yo about it. He decided on "outer space with a robot." I decided on the same place I woke up today -- In a bed, with my husband, with our two boys snuggled in with us (their arrival is what does the actual waking). Where is this bed? I don't actually care too much -- though a tropical location would be nice....

I think waking up in Telluraide, CO would be lovely. Or perhaps somewhere in China.

A big cozy bed in Hawaii. I am so ready for the warmth of sunshine on my face. Plus, the scent of all those exotic flowers is wonderful too!

In a little hotel down the street from the Globe Cafe in Vienna, Austria, with my husband. I visited Beethoven's grave there with a college friend years upon years ago, and want to share that, and many more, European travels with my husband.

I would wake up next to my husband, like I do every morning. I don't care about the specific location, just as long as he's next to me. I love rolling over and being able to see his face first thing in the morning. Totally makes my day.

If I could wake up anywhere, where would I be? That's easy, anywhere my husband is. :)

I'd wake up in a house situated right on the beach & walk out to have my coffee on the patio while watching dolphins frolicking in the surf.....
