This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.

If I could wake up wherever:
I'd wake up in my bed on a snowy, I mean, blizzard snowy, morning. One of those mornings where the weather is so bad everything is closed, so no work or school. I'd have all three kids and the husband in bed so we were all toasy warm and together.
The older my older two get I realize how much I'm missing those simple, sweet moments. You know, the kind you take for granted til there gone.

I would like to wake up somewhere on the Oregon coast with my two older granddaughters at a scrapbooking crop. I have wanted to do a crop on the coast to be able to listen to the ocean. My granddaughters like to crop. It would be a dream come true.

I would love to wake up on an exotic island. Anywhere were the kids could run around and not have a care in the world. Warm sand, hot sun, cool water.

I'd love to wake up on a beach, surrounded by palm trees, with my little umbrella drink and of course a craft table with all of my scrapping supplies...I know it's a bit much...but it's a great dream!

I want to wake up on Camano Island, WA underneath a big puffy white comforter, on a day perfect for crabbing.

I would like to wake up right next to the ocean and hear the water on the shoreline. Maybe...someday.

Ali - great to see you mentioned the link! - if I could wake up anywhere, where would it be? Hhhmmmm.....next to my hubby and son somewhere near a quiet, quiet beach. No frills, no noise, just plenty of time to share time together and to think.

If I could wake up anywhere, I would choose a beach house in New England with big open doors leading out to a deck. The fresh ocean breeze would be blowing flowy white curtains and I would be snuggled under a big down comforter. *sigh*

man...I would say the delivery room when my sis gives birth to her twins...while that may seem like an odd choice I have birthed 4 kiddos and would have loved to be on the other side reveling in the moment (without the associated discomfort and recovery time;)

If I could wake up anywhere? It's not so much the place as the time that I would want to catch up with. I would love to have the time again with relatives that had past away and even my mom when she did not have alzheimers. I would love to be able to capture the stories and photos from the past family history of generations past. Thanks Ali for the opportunity to daydream a bit!

If I could wake up anywhere, it would be my home, where I wake up (almost) everyday. That answer surprised me! Thanks for making me think about :-)
