To be entered into the drawing today leave a comment answering the following: if you could wake up anywhere, where would it be? This question is completely inspired by the very cool site 50 People, 1 Question (thanks for the link Helen). Comments will be closed tonight at 8pm Pacfic with the winners posted shortly after.

I would like to wake up in 1977 so I could see my kids grow up again.

What cool giveaways, Ali! Thanks for the opportunity.
If I could wake up anywhere, I would want to wake up in the Scottish Highlands. It is one of my best memories.

My wake-up call would be with the rising sun gently filtering through the woodland trees with birds gently chirping and a brook softly babbling in the background...and most importantly my husband nestled next to me.

Oh, Paris. With my eight best friends from high school. I spent spring break there a few years ago and just have this dream to spend a few weeks there, wandering around markets, sipping hot chocolate...it's a beautiful dream!

I would want to wake up in my childhood home during a holiday with all my family including my grandparents and great aunts, uncles and cousins whom I miss so much and my only child never got to meet.

I'd love to wake up at a 4 star hotel on a Caribbean island, with a scuba dive trip planned for the day.

I would love to wake up back in time, in my great grandmother's house and ask her about her life and sit alongside her as she goes through her day. My mother remembers her as a stern lady in full length victorian black garb, sitting knitting socks with a leather belt with holes in it, around her waist - she would stick the knitting needles into the belt as she "turned the heel". Fascinating. How I'd love to learn more of her life and her likes and dislikes.
This is why I scrapbook now for future generations I guess.
Thanks for the chance to win.

Right now, just to wake up would be special enough, as that would mean I've been sleeping. I only had 3 hours last night (completely self inflicted and happy to say I was scrapbooking).

I would wake up in New Mexico so that I could visit my best friend and her sweet babies...I miss them so much and don't get to see them as often as I would like.

I would want to wake up in my Mom's house as she is coming in from work.
My Mom is a bus driver and works from 5:30am to 9:30am to pick up the kids from school. She usually comes home after the morning shift to get some housework done or let the dog out.
If I was home, she would come into my room and wake me up by getting into bed with me. She would tell me about her morning and the funny things the kids did that day. The dog would also feel that he needed to be included and jump on the bed, too.
After we chatted for a bit, she would get up, head to the kitchen and cook a very traditional breakfast of eggs, biscuits, bacon, gravy and potatoes.
Even thought I am 33 and my Mom is almost 60, I love that she will come flop on the bed with me to tell me about her day. That is the best way to wake up!

I would want to wake up next to my Omi, who died when I was 5. She was an incredible woman, and I would love to know her as an adult.

Because I work away from my beautiful children (ages 11, 10, 6, 4) I would like to wake up with them in my arms and feel their warmth against me again and see their smiles or their grumbles depending how they wake up!!

I would wake up in a room with all my boys around me. Including my little man Connor who passed away 4 years ago. Had such little time with him.

I would wake up in heaven, to see my mother again, sitting in her chair doing needlepoint and asking about my day.

I would wake up on a lovely foggy morning in a cabin on the side of one of the Smokey Mountains. I would sit on the porch, sip tea, read a book, and just be still for a while.
Thinking peaceful thoughts....

I would wake up 12 years ago,not to be 23 again, but when my dad and grandpa were still alive(both died unexpectedly) with the knowledge that they soon would be gone and ask all the millions of questions I have since thought of about their lives. Then write it all down for me and future generations to know about. Thanks for the chances!
