Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

no questions asked... "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein. I remember sitting in the library listening to his cassette tapes and just being so mesmerized. I could actually see Hector and all his collections and the beard grow to his toes. Such a great memory. If you do not own it...it is a purchase must!

Ali-
I have a great book for Mom's to share with their little ones. It is called "Let Me Hold You Longer" by Karen Kingsbury. It is such a sweet picture book about the bond between an mother and her child as the child grows and matures. The first time I tried to read it to my kids, I am sure they thought I had lost my mind because I couldn't stop crying. Not usually what happens during story time! She also has another great one called "Let's Go On A Mommy Date." Check them out.

It is soooo hard for me to pick just one favorite but I will try. Actually, one I have read many times, and it is a classic, is Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises."

I just finished reading My Friend Leonard by James Frey, it was a sequel to the book "a million little pieces" that got all that hype on Oprah a couple of years ago. Great books, they give an indepth truthful look into an addicts mind, and the struggles they have to go through to get clean....very inspirational.
