Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

I have way too many favorites, but the one that made a huge impression on my life was reading "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden" about schizophrenia. I ended up going into behavioral sciences 30 years after reading it!

I'm not an avid reader, never been and never will be. But one of the few books I've read and always stuck with me is Midwives, it was on Oprah's bookclub, quite some time ago. I would consider actually reading this book again.

One of my recent favorites is The Omnivore's Dilemma. It was a real eye-opener to learn about how food animals are treated and the process involved with getting it to our tables. Makes me appreciate local farmers even more. I plan to buy from them as much as possible!

Hi Ali,
Right now I am reading An Apple A Day. It breaks down all the information that is out there in the media confusing us about food is good for us one day and bad for us the next. This book is a great resource that describes in detail what whole foods contain by way of nutrients and gives information about actual research done on disease prevention in a way that's easy to understand.
I would love to win any of the prizes but especially the organization class. I am drowning in paper clutter!

I have so many favorite books, but still to this day, my favorite series is from my childhood. I love the Anne of Green Gables series by LM Montgomery. I think I know quite a bit by heart from reading them so often!!

I don't read much because I don't have the time but three of my favorites right now are Get Organized and Be Inpsired (took the class, loved it), Photo Freedom (taking the class, loving it) and currently reading Snippets and if you have not read it, I suggest you do because it is extremely funny.

Of all the books I have read and loved, East of Eden by Steinbeck has always been my favorite. I just keep going back to it, time and time again. Another one of my all time favorites is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Chbosky. I first read it in high school and it's emotional truth is hard not to relate to.
