Simplify 101 • one person will receive a spot in the online workshop Organize Your Paper Clutter with Aby Garvey
Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop
represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling
in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your
paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or
even have fun.
Here’s
the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing
systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in
mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes
along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a
step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and
for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right
when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by
organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and
peace of mind!
Start date: Tuesday, April 21, 2009
End date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Registration status: open!
Read more specific details for the workshop here.

Hi, I received a great book for Photoshop as a gift:
The Adobe Photoshop CS4 Dictionary: The A to Z desktop reference of Photoshop
I am one to dive right into a program and play with it. Sometimes a how to book will just teach you the basics and not touch everything that the program has at your fingertips. This book is an AWESOME reference guide. I keep it right next to my computer for those what is this or how do I use that moments. Love it!

My favorite book (recently) is The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak. The story is beautiful and breathtaking and when I was finished I actually cried, something I don't do much. I felt when I was done that I had never read anything quite like it before. I knew it was a gift.
And the narrator? Death. How can that not pull you in?

I love The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls...I laughed so hard I cried! It's a true story of her life and her crazy parents that has so many emotions in one quick read.

I have to say the only books I've been reading lately are the ones to my daughter... and my favorites are Dr. Seuss books. We love the ones that really test your tongue, like "Fox in Sox".

I love to read so that's a tough question. I did love all of the Harry Potter books. I read the first one before it became popular - happened to see this new kids book at the library & decided to try it on a whim. When I got done reading it that afternoon, I said that was one of the best books I've read, even though it's supposedly a kid's book. A fun author is Janet Evanovich - all of hers make me laugh. I guess my favorite book or author would be whatever I happen to be reading at the time.

A great book I would recommend is
'World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War' by Max Brooks. It was a great read that grabbed you and didn't let go until the end. Not for everyone, but definitely fun for those who like to read about zombies.
