Working With Digital Word Art from Paperclipping

Noell from Paperclipping set me this great video tutorial on how to use my digital word art from Designer Digitals. In this lesson she shows how to add the word art to a photo, change it's color, and then print it out and add it to a paper scrapbooking layout.
Noell is using The Story Word Art in her tutorial.

Okay quick question. I just tried this on a new layout I was working on but the whole page turns the color I select and not just the (Ali words)...any suggestions? I'm on the correct layer on the side too so I'm a little confused as to why this is happening.
Any help ?

Noell, you are a natural teacher! I have a PC not a MAC. Is there a way to get the photo and the word art in the workspace without the window tile mode? I couldn't find it on the PSE 6 in the PC. Thanks, Ena
ps I'd love to see all the images I'm working with!
