Nothing recharges me like scrapbooking or art journaling. I try to do something everyday--even if it's just preparing a background in my art journal. After (or during!) a long day with my 3 kids, I need something that is just for me.

I meet w/friends once a month for an all-day 'crop'. I really look forward to that day! Then on my own, I put in few hours here and there, whenever I'm not cooking, cleaning, chauffering, shopping for my family of 6. =)

I am at a lull with scrapbooking right now. We are finishing up with homeschooling for the year and am in the middle of a photo class but every other week, my daughter and I and a friend and her daughter get together to work on a kit. The girls are taking lessons. Maybe more this summer.

I used to scrap at least once a week...but some recent circumstances have made it that I haven't scrapped in several months. But I do try to do at least ONE creative thing a day...I'm an art therapist and I try to practice what I preach :) Art truly is my therapy.

I don't scrapbook nearly as much as I would like to, but with such a busy schedule w/my husband and step children, girl scouts and making sure there is food in the house and clean clothes in the closets is more important. But I would say I make some time when all the chores are complete so I would say about twice a month if I'm lucky.

I have not been able to scrap since January because of returning to college and juggling work and family. Next week are finals, so I am counting the days until I get to scrap again! I would love one of these great goodies to kick start my creativity again! Thank you!

Because I am now retired, I have the luxury of being able to pursue creative things everyday. Sometimes I take photos, edit photos, work on gifts (scrapbooks, photo collections) for our children and grandchildren. Right now I'm in the process of putting all my family's "heritage" photos in archival sleeves in 3-ring binders. Yesterday I edited (removed mildew, dirt and scratches in photoshop) a portrait of my father when he was 1 year old...from 1904. I've also gotten some materials to make a little summer sundress for our latest granddaughter who is now 1.5 years. I haven't sewed in awhile so that is fun. Well, that's a lot of projects...I work on one or another just about every day.

Scrapbooking is hit or miss for me, our schedules are just constantly changing. But, I have a "closet" that's all mine and lets me leave things in progress without getting in the family's way!

Well let's see BB(Before Baby) I would scrap almost every night after my son went to bed. Now AB(after baby) we're looking at maybe once a week. It's getting more and more as she gets older, but man these kiddos sure slow us down. :)

My scrapbooking has been pretty rare lately but after the 12 hour crop I went to last weekend, I'm going to be better :)

I don't scrap nearly enough. Maybe once a month at this point...but it's on my list of "things I need to find time for."

I scrap about every 3 months, but when I do its for like a week straight. When the procrastination catches up and I hit a big creative wave I can scrap for hours and hours on end and then get up and do it the next day (usually after work though).

    Hi Ali!
It seems like a have little "bursts" of crativity. One week, I might spend a couple hours everyday working on projects and then I can go for weeks without doing anything. It all depends on my schedule and what projects I am currently trying to complete. I can tell that it is a great hobby because when I am finding time to create, I am happier and appreciate the little things more :)

I try to do something creative everyday! Art (in all forms) is the best emotional outlet for me...so it always helps to 'unwind' at the end of the day. :)

I try to do something I love daily. If it isn't actually making a LO or card...then taking pictures, surfing all the fun sites on the net, etc!

I'm very lucky in that I can enjoy my hobby any time. As long as we aren't at some sporting event. I've taken a mini step away from scrapping but I've been reading and surfing the net trying to find that inspiration to kick start me again.

How often do I get to scrapbook? It's not a matter of "getting to" it's a matter of making time for it. Something I need to learn to do more of-making time for myself. Right now I haven't scrappbooked in a couple of months but have recently been getting back into the "designing" stage.
