I have over 300 peonie plants. They are a wild flower from England. I have no ants, They will open up beautifully on there own. They don't like allot of care just to be weeded and watered. We Sold about 300 dozen this last couple of weeks. They are very beautiful.
I also remember ants all over the poenies lining our driveway when I was a child. I really didn't like those "old lady flowers" then. Now that I am entering old-lady-hood myself, I love them.

Funny, I made a layout from opening flowers last year! I kept on taking photos everyday, it made me so "in the moment" to see them open...

gorgeous - my very favorite flower. I have them in my yard this year. They were lovely (now all gone), but not as beautiful as these! Great shots!
