I am excited because my mom has my kids and I am enjoying the quiet to read outside and do some scrapbooking...how sweet it is!

This weekend has been fantastic so far, and looks to continue being so. Friday began with seeing the best friend for a day of shopping, good food, crazy antics, and the Museum District in downtown Houston. Saturday was my favorite annual festival, the Texas Blueberry Festival. Despite being ridiculously hot, it was fantastic. People line the streets of the cobbled roads of the downtown historical area in the oldest town in Texas: Nacogdoches. We got to be shuttled out to the local farms where you can pick blueberries for $1 to fill your bag. Sunday is adult night, where we'll bring back a college tradition of Champagne Sunday. Good home-cooked food, friends, and relaxation before Monday starts back up.

I have been cleaning closets like crazy, I feel such a sense of accomplishment. I've also been able to downsize the amount of "stuff" we have, with huge collections of donations for several local charities. I feel lighter already!

Today was the race around Key West swimming race. I don't participate, but I love going to watch everyone leave on their 12 mile swim around our island. Really amazing- it takes at least 4 hours!

I know this is dorky but I am excited about going to pick up an Iris cart from a fellow 'pea' who is moving and doesn't need it anymore. I am very unorganized and cluttery, have a small place and a baby girl and not much money, and have been trying to find inexpensive ways to contain my crafty mess. This should fit in perfectly! I am thinking baby clothes or heavy punches. Yay!
Thanks for the chance to win.
