Time alone! No husband or kids for a few hours!

I am excited about a wonderful journey this weekend!

I am excited to give my nephew a music stand for his 10th birthday. He plays the cello and is doing so well that his music teacher let him keep the cello for the summer so he wouldn't have to rent one. What a great teacher and what a great kid!

I'm super excited about the little pool we got for the grand-daughters age 2 and 3. Can't wait to see their faces in the morning! I love summer!

I'm excited that my in-laws baby-sat so that my husband and I could go out for a nice dinner to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary!

I am excited about spending a day scrapping tomorrow with my sister-in=law tomorrow. What a treat!

The excitement is all about weather! If you live in a country where you cannot rely on the weather to be nice even in summer, and you have had a week filled with cold rain the excitement over a sunny and warm weatherforecast which will grant an opportunity of gardening is pure joy!

I'm excited because we just cleaned out the last cabinet in the kitchen and stored the last boxes in preparation for a complete renovation starting on Tuesday. I can't wait to see all the elements we've chosen come together.

My grandmother and I have been working on quilt tops together. Monday we're taking them to the quilters for her to finish them. I can't wait to see how they look finished. Plus, I've made some great memories sewing with my grandmother. Becca :)

The first thunderstorm is approaching of the summer as I type this. There is something about the sound of the storm on the horizon, the smell of the fresh rain...I don't like anything severe but do like the freshness and hope that seems to follow - maybe even a rainbow!

I am excited that I got to have a date night with my husband -- dinner and a movie! Doesn't happen too often . . . but it' summertime and the girls went for an overnighter with the grandparents (so they were excited, too!!).

I'm excited for the lovely weather we're having and the opportunity to go pay a visit to the Peony Garden which is in full bloom (camera will be coming along, of course!).
I'm also excited to hear that Renee Pearson is offering an on-line class!

Really, I'm just excited that it's the weekend! Working full time really wears you out and it's so good to have the weekend to unwind and just spend time with my 2 boys. We're looking forward to watching movies, eating treats, and playing board games. Should be fun!
