My favorite photo right now is one from my wedding which took place just over a month ago. It was a candid moment just after the ceremony that truly depicts my husband and I. Looking at each other with a sigh of relief and knowing that this was a one in a lifetime moment that we will always cherish. I know that we were surrounded by people at the moment and there was a lot of commotion, but this picture doesn't show that part. It is just us and we are caught in each other's gaze, a moment of peace and joy.

My favorite picture right now is one I took last night at my niece's baby shower/family picnic. It is a five generation picture on my husband's side. It includes his 96-year-old grandma (now a great-great grandma), his mom (now a great grandma), and his #1 brother (a new grandpa), plus my niece and five week old great-nephew, Bryce. Great-great Grandma was NOT going to have her walker in the picture, so she held onto my MIL's arm. She's quite spunky for 96!

My favorite new photo is of my 4 year old daughter at her swim lesson. Last year she almost drowned. She was at the bottom of the pool and needed to be revived. She was so fearful of water after that. She just finished swim lessons and I got a picture of her laughing. It makes me tear up seeing her so happy in a situation that caused such terror. Her beaming smile and sparkling eyes make up for al of the nightmares that she had last summer.

My current favourite photo is from Theresa Thompson. Each week I do a photo search on Flickr for a word of the week. Last week was "Dad". I came across this one and instantly loved the retro image.

I really appreciate how you open up my world to some great new people, ideas and thoughts. Thanks for all the great links to new places. As for a recent favorite photo, I think it would be of my 13 year old son. He was sitting at the kitchen table, the sun was shining in on his face and I realized my baby has facial hair....not peach fuzz! My camera was sitting right there so I snuck the pic before he noticed. I just can't believe how much he has changed from 12 to 13. Sigh......

My current favorite photo is a picture taken of me (and my growing belly) at Fenway. It was after the game where Big Papi hit his first homer of the season...which was, of course, inspired by the
presence of Little Bean at the game! ;)

I have 2 favorite photos! I managed to get a picture of each twin sitting unaware in their airplane float in the water at the beach. The sun is glistening off of the water and the wind is blowing their hair around and they just look adorable. (If I do say so myself.LOL!) I have them framed and on the bookshelf in my kitchen/dining room.

My husband captured some great action shots of all my cousins playing kickball at our family reunion. Some of us hadn't played in 30 years, and the teenagers thought they'd beat us, but they didn't! It's fun to see the family interacting in these candid shots, so much more revealing than the later posed photos.

My favorite recent photo is one I have of my two dogs Scotty and Pebbles tugging on a rope. It was so funny because one dog weighs 30 pounds and the other 5 pounds and the little dog was trying his hardest.

my current favourite photo is one i took a couple of days ago of our back door entrance way that seems to be filled with flipflops, water guns, and a variety of our family "stuff".This place in our home always makes me crazy because noone puts their stuff away...I stopped and had to take a picture of it when the other morning i thought to record the moment and it made me smile.Their shoes still small are bigger than last years and their toys are just one year older...soon there won't be toys left to yell or nag about.

My favorite recent photo would have to be of my house. I have taken a photo of my house in every season. Summer was the last season I needed. I am doing a series of canvases one for every season.
