Sponsor Giveaways: SewCute Shop

Sewcutegiveaway

One person will receive a Women's Auty Top from SewCute Shop (you will be able to choose your own fabric from her current stock):

Here's a little bit about SewCute Shop and Brandy's mission to do something really good for another family:

I started sewing sometime last year and fell in love. My grandmother (Nana) taught me the basics of pinning patterns, hemming, and seams. After being taught those skills I have really been a self-taught seamstress. I have a true love for putting the most trendy fabrics together and making 'SewCute' items. The items I place in SewCute Shop are my favorites and I am very happy to make them for you.

In March 2009 my best friend's little boy was suddenly diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) - a degenerative brain disease. The movie 'Lorenzo's Oil was made to bring awareness to this newly discovered disease. In early April, Joel, Teresa and Riley Greene aka TEAMGREENE were moved from Chattanooga, TN to Durham, NC where Riley would spend what they thought 100 days after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Due to complications, this week marks 133 TEAMGREENE has been in Duke Hospital.

I made a pledge to donate all proceeds from SewCute Shop to TEAMGREENE until they returned home in Chattanooga. For me sewing has become much more than just a hobby it has been a small part of what allows my best friend to stay by her son's side. For more information on TEAMGREENE visit www.carepages.com/carepages/teamgreene and create a username/password.

When I'm not sewing away I enjoy spending time with my fabulous husband, Ty and two children Autumn (9) and Tyler (2).

I had Brandy make one of these for Anna (see above) and one of these for me (love wearing it over my jeans) and they are awesome.

To be entered into this weekend's drawing please leave a comment below with a link to your favorite charity. Comments will be closed at 8pm Pacific on Sunday evening and the winner posted shortly after.

Makes me want to take a sewing class! I have "faked" my way through a few sewing projects in the past, but these really make me want to "know" how to sew!

Cute tops! Thank you for the opportunity.
My favourite charity is the BC Childrens Hospital Foundation. My oldest daughter was born at 35 weeks and had some issues. She spent the first 20 days of her little life in their Special Care Nursery. She's 5 now and perfect in every way...but there isn't a day that goes by I don't think about her wonderful doctors and nurses that ensured she is the little spitfire she is today.

My favorite charity is the Donna Hicken Foundation. The Foundation raises money to be used exclusively for First Coast (Jacksonville, FL) women living with breast cancer... who, for whatever reason, can't make ends meet. Donna is a three-time breast cancer survivor!!

My aunt passed away from cancer, my friend just found out she had breast cancer and had a mastectomy - it's a horrible disease. I support any charities that fund research for a cure. http://ww5.komen.org/
Beautiful sewing pieces and a what a wonderful cause. It's great to know that people like this exist. My thoughts are with Riley through his difficult journey. I wish him peace always.

I don't have one favorite charity, but I love to find local people--friends, strangers, anyone in need--and secretly provide a service or item they need. Love this SewCute donation project so much I may have to buy something myself! Thank You!

The Charity we help most is http://www.first5california.com/.
I'm part of a mother's club that works with First 5 a few times through out the year but mostly at Christmas time. We adopt families and work with the organization ensuring that children have a great Christmas. It has taught my children so much about what it means to give durning the holidays.

LOVE those shirts!! Thanks for the chance to win.
I don't have a favortie charity but we do donate to our church which helps families in need and donates a lot to disaster victims.
Also, Haitian Roots was founded by one of my neighbors who adopted a little boy from Haiti. You can donate a few dollars to send a Haitian child to school. I think this is a great cause as it breaks my heart to see the situation going on there (and other 3rd world countries).

My two charities at this time that consistently get my time and contributions are the local Elementary School (Evergreen) and our local church.
I truly love the fabric choices. I've enjoyed sewing for about 45 years, and it's always been about the fabric that I could choose from. Thanks,
