This days I am inspired by blogs. I love reading them and learning new techniques for scrapbooking. Thanks so much to all the creative people on the internet!!

Lately, I have been finding inspiration everywhere --- but a friend of mine is going through a tough time on many different fronts, and she still has a smile and a kind word --- that is inspirational.

Got super inspired the other day looking at the Land of Nod catalog. Color combinations were just popping out to me - like the striped rug with several shades of blue (monochromatic) and then one shade of orange. It's fun getting scrap inspiration in other places.

These days the upcoming school year is inspiring me. My daughter is starting preschool, I'm starting gradschool and my husband is starting teaching at a new school. I've been taking more pictures, scrapbooking more and spending more time playing with my family since I know we are starting a new chapter in our lives.

A visit back home to Seattle is inspiring me...so nice to come home to the beautiful Pacific Northwest...can hardly wait to scrap the trip!

My inspiration today is my sweet grandchildren who are visiting me. It just makes me want to snap a million photos and capture their faces, toes, and expressions.

Wow...these are all amazing products! All this fresh farm food is inspiring me lately to make things....we're making blueberry jam (with fresh Maine blueberries!)

My garden inspires me. Many "Ali-isms" apply there, as in trying to not make it more complicated than it need be, and letting go of perfection. It could become a place dominated by "should's" that I didn't get to, but instead I relish all it gaves back (right now, everything a good salsa requires!).

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Minnesota inspires me lately. Ever since moving back here, I've looked at the weather here differently and more positively. I used to whine about the winter, but not anymore!

I have been inspired by being quiet and paying attention lately. Taking a walk around the block and enjoying the summer evening sounds clears away all the stuff of the day, leaving lots of room for creative thoughts. Sitting at the beach, just enjoying the simple pleasure of the sun and surf has really calmed and centered me this summer.

What inspires me....non-crafty lately is my messy renovating house. Inspires me because I'm sooo happy to finally be updating it. It will make me happier and probably more productive (in all areas) too.

Inspiration to scrapbook = Taking even more photos lately. Love the inspiration they give me.
General inspiration = watching the young women in my church that I work with. The youth of today are amazing.

Lately I have been inspired by Christine Middlecamp, ever since she did the Guest post on your blog, I just can't get enough of her work! It's so bright and colorful and fun! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

The birth of my new grandson just 3 weeks ago. Can't wait to get some pics together for a book.

I'm inspired by all the new school supplies out in the stores! There's nothing like a brand new box of crayola crayons!

My daughter is inspiring me. She is only 10, but she still has the ability to create something without second guessing herself, to go with the flo, to just make whatever she wants at that moment.

I am inspired when I see the things that other women do. There are several ladies that I would like to "Be like when I grow up." (Including you, Ali!) I am always amazed at how we juggle home, children, friends, creativity, sleep and making sure there is clean underwear.

I'm inspired by the newest CK issue. It's been awhile since I flipped through one. So many cute things!
