What a great giveaway this weekend. I have been inspired so much lately by NOT creating! Hah! Seriously, we are delayed in closing on a new house and my studio is all packed away awaiting its new home, so I have been dreaming, and dreaming, and dreaming, locking away new ideas and projects mentally, letting all that creative energy build.

My very prolific garden is insiring me right now...despite the slugs that are trying to destroy it, it just keeps on growing!

My husband and I both recently lost our jobs within 4 days of each other, so I am trying to stay inspired by digging into my PSE program and working on my business start up while we have hit this little bump in the road. Thank you for the giveaway!!!!

With an overabundance of garden produce this summer, we've begun taking some to area smalltown farmers' markets. Today we parked by a woman I've known for years--who, I swear, was about 80 when I first met her. She hasn't aged a bit in all this time. But, the thing that's most amazing & inspiring is how hard she works & how much she & her husband do. My husband & I complain about a few hours in the heat & how tired we are. These wonderful folks have to do far more than we, who are 20 years younger! And--the best part--she always has a smile & happy, encouraging words!

Funny as it sounds, I have been inspired by the dance & music on So You Think You Can Dance. I was moved at least once a week while watching this show either by the lives of the young dancers, their grace on the stage or the lyrics to the most profound or fun songs chosen for them to dance to. Love. True. :)

Call me crazy, but the lack of heat today (thank goodness for the crazy winds we had) has totally inspired me, since its actually a little too chilly to work in the yard. Yeah, scrapbook catch up time.

I'm inspired by my cousin's new baby girl... born August 5th. I scrapbooked for the 1st time in waaaaay too long today in her honor. ;)

I've been inspired by Eve's Etsy's shop since you had her Christmas products on your blog last year. How can you not be inspired just by looking at all her products?

I'm inspired by photo editing and playing with textures, masks, text and colour in Photoshop. Doing fun and different things with my photos has inspired some creativity in my layouts and design.

What is inspiring me lately is other peoples' capacity to love, unconditionally. It is beautiful.

I am being inspired by the beautiful weather we are having. What can be better than sunshine and clear blue skies.

I am inspired by the beautiful fresh fruit available in the summer. I haven't been able to bake as much as I used to (pastry chef) since I had my daughter (now 4 months old!), but this gorgeous fruit makes me get back in the kitchen to play around and make sweet treats for my family.
