Lately, I've been inspired by my commute. It's a long one and it's one straight stretch of country highway. For whatever reason, I have suddenly woken up and am noticing all sorts of colors and textures on the sides of the road. The first thing I do when I get to work now is write down all the ideas I've collected on my drive.

My DH is inspiring me. After rupturing a tendon in his knee he has been a "couch potato" against his will. He walks around on crutches, tries to do everything for himself (even when it "hurts") and has been a trooper, though I know the pain is awful! Cheers to him!

Yesterday I was inspired by my 4 year old son learning to ride his bike with no training wheels. He was so proud of himself (as was I). He is still so excited this morning. We are getting rain all day today and he wants to know if he can go outside and ride his bike in the rain because he wants me to videotape him.
