My latest inspiration has been my friend Angie. She is an amazing artist using scrapbooking, up-cycling old materials/trash, journaling, and photography. She has taught me that there are no mistakes...if you don't like it just tear it out or cover it up!!! That gave me permission not to be afraid of trying new things and techniques. I am having so much fun!!

I am inspired by the changes I see happening in myself. I have been on a quest for myself over the past year (now that I am almost 30) I see so much more value than I have before.

My daughter's bedspread. I have been working all weekend on her room to make it fit for a teenager rather than a little girl. Using lot of black and silver with touches of dark fuschia. Next I am going to decorate her walls with vinyl designs cut with me cricut.

I am inspired by my mother. She has just been diagnosed with cancer and is bravely facing the unknown future with grace and poise. I only pray I handle life as she has in the past two weeks. I am inspired to live each day as my last and never miss an oppurtunity with my children and loved ones.

I've actually been in a rut lately. I just don't feel the motivation to scrap anything lately. So when I'm in these kinds of moods. I focus on my children all the more. I pay attention to little details. Notice things that others don't usually. Then I am inspired, they are really one of the only reason I am inspired or motivated to scrap. To tell their stories of the funny, cute, adorable things they do or say. To capture each milestone (if I remember to). But of course, I am inspired buy a lot of scrappers out there, so I will visit different blogs. Sometimes I just take in a lot of ideas and rest on them for a while (maybe a long time), before I finally decide to create something!

I have my first vegetable garden this year and all the beuaitful vegetables have inspired me to eat healthier. It is so rewarding to plant seeds and watch the flowers turn into colorful delicious vegetables.

Friends inspire me....to continue, to explore, to create.

The colors of summer are inspiring me right now. I have an 8 ft sunflower in my garden and it has a lot of color. Along with the other flowers and the tomatoes and squash and the melons.

Lately, I have been inspired by home decor magazines. Great color combinations, love simplicity in design. But Ali's blog has always been my biggest inspiration. You just have that incredible power in words. You have written so many articles about me. Ali, you can make anyone scrap!

My friend! Just spent the afternoon with her after too many months of just emails and phone calls. She inspires me because I can totally be myself with her and feel no judgement. All about laughter and good times. And we even got some scrapping time in. Fantastic!!

Lately I have been inspired by frugality blogs. Love the idea of choosing to be frugal!

My Mom is such an inspiration....diagnosed with Stage 4 breast Cancer in April. Her positive attitude and outlook on life really help me appreciate everyday life even more!

I'm always inspired by music! It totally changes my mood.

My family! We have a six-month-old daughter who inspires me daily. She really does make me want to be a better person and wife to my husband.

I am inspired by my daughters beauty - she is only weeks old, but is facing one of lifes scariest procedures. (Multiple open heart surgeries - she was born with congenital heart disease with 3 major defects and she is just amazing to me!)

We have moved to a new city a month ago, and the new places we have been visiting are inspiring me, many good moments, and great pictures!

Children are inspiring me lately! Children have fun so easily and live with JOY! They inspire me to let the child in me enjoy life more!

what is inspiring me??
-unorganized piles of patterned paper, and noticing new colour combos within them
-and crossing things off my summer to-do list with the kids.
-also, any layout by Kellicrowe...that girls paper piecing is off the chart...
