Always, I'm inspired by the photography I see on flickr; lately I'm inspired by looking back on my own work and seeing the improvement :)

I've been inspired by reading many blogs lately. There's so much creativitiy out there and it's fun to see what others have come up with. Frequently, as I'm browsing, I see something that I like and think - I would have never thought of that but love it!

I am inspired lately by my children. The transition of my 10 year old son becoming less of a boy and getting glimpses of the man he will become. My 5 year old son, the mischief maker and budding comedian. And my almost one year old daughter that is learning new things everyday. With them, it is impossible to run out of inspiration and stories to tell.

I am inspired by the unique landscape of Hong Kong. Both the natural and the man-made, this city is full of new things to look at and an interesting combination of old and new.

I am inspired by taking classes - it helps me to set aside the time to scrapbook. Classes also get me thinking about a particular subject for a couple of days so that when I do scrapbook I actually accomplish something.

I've been inspired lately by music on the radio (channel surfing to find something that works) and looking outside our apartment daydreaming with the clouds.

My latest inspiration (for scrapbooking anyway) has been conversation; my 3 year old questions and my 6 year old telling us how things work. I want to get all this "cuteness" down on paper so we remember it all!

My inspiration is coming lately from the challenges of life at the moment. So many things going on with job furloughs, health issues, world affairs, etc. The more stressful my life becomes, the more I retreat to my art room to create. I can shut out the details of the day and create the special moments and the ordinary days. In those pages, I find joy and peace.

I've been inspired by self-portraits - it's so hard to get a perfect shot, so I'm learning to find good things with all of the imperfect ones. Thanks for the giveaway - everything is so beautiful!

I'm inspired right now by my son. He never ceases to amaze me with the things he says and how he runs around without a care in the world. Just the way it should be. And, here I thought I would be the one to teach him everything. :-)
