A deadline is inspiring me right now. I only have the rest of today and tomorrow until I go back to school for the fall. Desperation is a great motivator. I have finished a mini album and one 12 X 12 page. I have lots more to do, but I'm confident that I will get a few more finished before my deadline.

Inspiration lately? I guess the riot of color in our garden is truly an inspiration to me! The flowers are in full bloom and the colors are very deep (thanks to the rain we've had) and the blooms prolific!

My latest inspiration is the trip to the art store last week. Whenever my son has to go for an eye doctor visit in Toronto it means I get to stop at my favourite fine art store...It makes me so happy to walk amongst the art supplies...I want to buy buy buy and go straight home to create!

My husband is inspiring me right now. He's been unemployed for 6+ months, and no one is interviewing him. Yet he is still delighting in every moment he gets to spend at home with our two girls getting to know them better. I know their lives and memories will be so much better for this time that he has had with them. It's been great having him home, but through it all he knows that God is going to provide a job and hopefully will soon.
