Great giveaways!!
I'm a teacher and having this summer vacation to spend with my 2 1/2 year old daughter has been inspiring me! Just those everyday moments and our weekly "field trips" have provided great photos and lots of bonding time for she and I.

I've never been much of a beach person, but with small kids, a trip to the beach has become something different for me. They can spend hours doing nothing in the sand and water and I can spend that time decompressing. I've also found inspiration in the colours at the lake and realize that, unknowingly, I've used those colours in the last few layouts I've done ... beautiful soft blues, greens, grays and beiges. So relaxing.

Lately my inspiration is coming from my family, more specifically my grandmother. She recently found out that she has stage 4 lung cancer, and is battling it like a trooper. But she has put things in prospective for me as far as my scrapbooking goes because I started to think about the fact that if something happened to me that my daughter would always have those memories to hold on to. So it's really given a whole new meaning to my scrapbooking.

I have been inspired by watching my little ones begin to really play together. I am sure there will be many many fights in their future, but for now it just makes me so happy and inspires me to be a better mom :)

I've been going through pictures lately, which is definitely inspring! The pictures themselves do it, but also just the urge to jot stories down before I forget them.

This is probably something that's gonna sound real strange, but I am inspired by myself lately. I have worked so hard with getting things straight in my life, with liking and accepting myself. I am so much stronger now than I've been in a long time, and that inspires me. I work hard and I get somewhere with it. Inspiring is the word :)

I just read the article about using kids books as inspiration and have just recently organized the hundreds
of books my son has. Can't wait to pull some out and "copy". I love the "Don't let the pigeon..." book sample included in the article. We love Mo Willems who writes those books.
Thanks for all the inspiration you give us!!

I am totally inspired by blogs lately especially those of Nichol Magouirk and Kerry Bradford. The things they do with the QK Silhouette truly AMAZE me and make me want to bust out my machine and learn to do the things they do with it!
I am also inspired by you and Jessica Sprague to learn more about digital scrapbooking. I purchased some of your designs from DD and am trying to incorporate them into my albums. I took Jessica's class and am looking forward to learning how to enhance my photos in PSE.
Finally, I am inspired by my puppy who recently faced his fear of the water by jumping off the bank and into the river. A life lesson we all could learn from: don't hesitate; just jump in and get wet!

Inspiration these days is coming from how in awe I am of the transformation of my little Kindergartener into a BIG Girl first grader. She did so much growing, physically and mentally, over Summer Break. (School started this week here in TN) Then on the other end of the spectrum, I am inspired to tell the "stories" of my 17-year-old-Senior-about-to-graduate-and-be-his-own-person son. And that kick in the bottom came from Ali, Cathy Z and Stacy J. Without stories, what would our lives be?

I am inspired by those who manage to stay upbeat, optimistic and kind...in light of opression, racism, sexism or other roadblocks.
