Wow, what a lot of good "stuff"! I am so very happy to be healthy! After spending the last week battling flu & moaning & groaning if feels awesome to "be me" again!

I have not given up on my SLR class at Jessica Sprague.com even though it is the most frustrating thing I can remember doing in ten years. I am not a quitter! I WILL learn to love my camera settings off auto.

I'm doing a Layout a Day Project and I made the decision to stop lifting and do my own creating and I am loving {most of} the results!

This week we found out my Dad's hear bipass surgery went terribly wrong. They call him a time bomb. On Tuesday our whole family is heading to Chicago to Loyola hospital to hear if my Dad's heart can be fixed or if it's too late. This was a terrible blow to all of us but I am not only proud of myself but my WHOLE family...we are remaining positive, living every day to the fullest and finding faith we didn't know we had to get through this unknown time. This isn't the warm fuzzy response I know most are posting but it's times like these that show what people are made of and I am so proud of myself and my family....we will get through this tough time and do it with humor and grace.

I got my house cleaned! This is a positive for me because generally everything comes first (especially scrapbooking!). Now I can REALLY look forwarding to scrapping next week with some of my new downloads from DD (Cathy and Ali). Love the giveaways!

I am so happy to be off of work today with no obligations. Planning on scrapping, making a few cards and working on my Project 365, which makes me happy! Also excited to travel tomorrow to see my dd's boyfriend play college football. It's one of his last games (he's a Sr.) so it makes it even more precious.

I've been working all summer on focusing on exercise and good nutrition & it's really paying off. While my body is changing it's really the improved energy, overall improvement in my mindset and sleeping better that make me the happiest.

I am training for my first 5k on Thanksgiving Day. I have a lot to be thankful for and positive for. I've lost 25 lbs since June 1 and still going strong! I want to be around a very long time to enjoy my boys.

There are so many good things in my life, a wonderful husband, three great kids and everything else that has seemed to fall into place. Life is good!

I am planning to organize today instead of sitting around. I am excited about this and feeling accomplished!

right now I'm actually baking with my oldest daughter (4years) and we just finished making muffins and now we started making bread. I've never made bread so this is exiting..

It is Fall Break; no school Monday & Tuesday. I'll be catching up on my Yesterday and Today layouts.

I have gotten involved in a ladies group at my church. We do fund raising for various charities. The friendships I am developing while helping my community are amazing! Love's elle's studio and what a beautiful necklace!

I've been spending more time cardmaking and not feeling guilty about it, and hope to return to scrapbooking soon!!
