This is a funny answer to this question, but getting waxed.
I'm lazy and other options just never worked for me. So every month I just take one day for me and get waxed and maybe a manicure or a pedicure.

I took three days extra at the end of a business trip to meet up with a friend, and make some new ones!

I skipped my Friday class just to have more time to love on my little boy (and clean and buy groceries). I really do not have any regrets, and wish I could do it more often. Ahhh, the sweet scent of babies :)

Just for me I have decided to to take things slower and enjoy those around me. Enjoy my space I am in and my family. Enjoy my creativity and just slow down.

I left husband and puppy at home to fly across the country to spend the weekend with my very best friend. It's been perfectly lovely, even though I've felt a little selfish knowing they're sitting at home!

"Just-for-me-time" is very rare, but today my husband took our daughter with him and I had almost the entire day just for me. I did some homework for my online university in the morning (and I'm pretty much finished) and after that a took the third book of the Twilight-Novel by Stephenie Meyer and read it (for the first time after listening to the audiobook the third time) while taking a very hot bath ... that was great. Now I'm ready for them to come back home ;-)

It's sad to say that I hardly find time to do anything just for me because I have three boys ages 6, 3, and 5 months. But I do try to scrapbook with my friend once a week at night. I sacrifice sleep, but it's worth it to have some "me" time!

I have been taking time every morning for some reading. All the books I've gotten this last year are piling up and it feels good to start reading them. I'm really enjoying them and the time to just relax for me!!
