Gina did our wedding invitations and they were arguably my favorite thing about our wedding {well, the invitations and the wonderful husband and 13 years of great marriage!}

I finally bought some new clothes (albeit not in my ideal size) after my third pregnancy and the baby's first year. And as a bonus, I signed up and am taking the Yesterday & Today class, which I am enjoying so much. I haven't scrapped anything in almost 2 years! :)

Just for me: ordered some new shirts and had my hair colored and highlighted! I'm thinking about a manicure today...

I actually bought a couple new outfits for myself instead of my kids!

Doing things for myself is always a struggle. Two things come to mind. I took the day off for my birthday. My sister came down and we had a frivolous shopping day (though we didn't buy too much). Also, I completed the METAV album (me, the abrdidged version) at BPS. This was also a birthday present (of sorts) to myself.

Yesterday, after a restless night's sleep, I took a looooong nap after the kids went to school - just for me. Okay, I lost 1/2 of my day but I gained some much-needed rest and I was a better mommy when they got home. :)

I hosted two crops at my house last weekend when my husband was out of town. So fun! I was thrilled to get some layouts done of the every day.

I went to a coffee shop inside a book store and bought a latte. What a bliss!

Finalized plans for a Girl's Week with my two BFF from high school. (We graduated in 1968!!!) October 19th we will meet in McCall, Idaho. That little town will never be the same!

Well I am allowing to have a mess in the living room...hard for me but I am allowed my self an evening of relaxation.

The other day, I ordered a couple of scrapbooking/cardmaking goodies that I have been eyeing for quite awhile. Can't wait until they get here so I can PLAY!

It's great to see all these women taking care of themselves! Just for me -- I've been seeing a therapist weekly for the past year. It's taken me on an amazing journey where I've gotten to know myself, downplay my weaknesses and accentuate my strengths. I feel like a different, better version of myself today!

I bought myself I pumpkin spice latte after the football game last night, yummm.

Today, just for me, I stayed in pyjamas and drank a few cups of tea in the quiet of the morning.

I love to see everything that everyone are doing for themselves. Gives me some great ideas! =) The most recent thing I did just for me is called my grandma and went and borrowed a whole bag of old photo albums from her. I'm so excited to get them scanned in and use them in the Yesterday Today album!!

I began training for the annual Roma-Ostia Half Marathon in Rome, Italy. It's always been a dream of mine to take part in a marathon...so I'm very pleased and happy with myself to finally let my dream become reality.

Instead of cleaning and laundry yesterday I did some paper-crafting and scrapbooking. It was great! But now my house is a mess and nobody has anything to wear ;)

I signed up for and I'm taking your Yesterday and Today class and Maggie Holmes photography class. It's a lot but it's fun.
