I made myself a big cup of tea, grabbed my laptop, went into the bedroom, closed the door and had a 30 minutes break.

Since I am the only one that uses my scrap desk, I cleaned it JUST FOR ME so I can enjoy myself next time I escape there.

hmmm....that's a hard one, I had to think really hard, the only thing that I could think about was the crop night that I went to in August...that was purely for me to enjoy and relax!

I decided to break down and but the day and night creams in the Neutrogena line of skin/anti-aging stuff. :) They are $17 a bottle, but so worth it! :)

I have been giving myself permission to play with art...on canvas, with paper, just letting myself play and looking forward to seeing what happens.

On my birthday a couple of weeks ago (the big "29!" ;) ), I stayed home all day, watched TV, and read fun blogs. Totally selfish, and totally fun. :D

I took a travel sabbatical by myself down the east coast from Ocean City, MD to Savannah, GA staying off of the Interstate. I traveled to Chincoteague, VA, Norfolk, Kill Devil Hills and Buxton in the Outer Banks, Wilmington, NC, Charleston, SC, Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah, GA. I took lots of photos, and there was no one to tell me what to do (or not do).

I wore my Uggs all day today (first snowfall in MN!) and just reveled in their luxurious comfort. Last time it was cold I felt guilty that my husband had bought them for me as a gift, but today I just loved 'em up! :)
