Last week I got a pedicure - perfect "me" time!

There are 2 things I have done just for me....I joined a weight loss group and am working at it with the support of my girlfriends...and yesterday I repainted my scrapbook room to a brighter happier looking green- kind of like a granny smith apple...it makes me feel happy and good when I am in there now!

Last week I made myself go to bed early enough to get 9 hours of sleep every night. I didn't necessarily sleep 9 hours each night, but I at least gave my body a chance to take the rest it needed. It made such a difference in my week! I wish I were disciplined enough to do it every night!

I have stayed up late to get some scrapping done. As much as I desparately need the sleep, I need to be creative more. It has turned out to be such a good decision!!

My sister and I had a girl's night out this week. We ate supper at a resturant and then shopped in a scrapbooking store, and a craft store. It was lovely.

While it's not a big deal to most people, it was so enjoyable for me... I had my teenage nieces come over and watch my kiddos for a few hours so I could go out and buy a new bedspread for our master bedroom! It was so nice to shop in peace and at my own pace. I will definitely be doing that again!

I got some decorating books at the library to read after my boys go to bed at night!

MASSAGE! As a massage therapist who gives a lot to others, I finally booked one for myself!

Latley I have been giving myself pleanty of rest time.. Only 66 days untill my new little bundle of boy arrives :) xx

I locked myself in my room so I could read the last chapter of my book without any interruptions by my five children. It was wonderful.

I went to the Kansas City Quilt Guild show at Crown Center yesterday and then out to lunch with two friends. So much fun.

For me, it's ongoing. I've decided that if i have the inclination to craft, I will. The housework will always wait, but my creative juices aren't always as creative some days as others, so I'd better go for it! Now, I do feel guilty about it sometimes, but I do it anyway and try to get over it.

Ah man...ummm I took an afternoon away from my daughter, Georgia, who I stay at home with and got my haircut. Afterward I didn't rush back the sitter either, I drove through Starbucks and rambled about town through my favorite neighborhoods, my old neighborhoods, etc...it was lovely!

I bought me two of my favorite Gold Canyon candles. The scents bring me happiness-simple.

This is something I am not so good at, but each day I try to do something for me even if it is simple...enjoyed a McDonald's ice cream cone while my girls eat french fries and we drive home with the sound of munches instead of yells of STOP IT! BLISS for only 3.02!! :-)

I have recently declared the the afternoon while the baby sleeps "me time" I have been scrapping and napping and reading. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I love it! It's keeping me sane. Thanks for the chance to win!

I recently painted my toe nails for the first time since before I was pregnant, about 4 years ago. It was so awesome just to sit on my porch, by myself, and paint my toe nails and feel so girly. It's been so cold, but I can't help but wear flip flops still.

I called a friend up and asked if my son could come and play at her house. Then I went shopping BY MYSELF!!!!! Woohoo! It was awesome! :)
